John is right. I'm sure that ESN is NOT available in Troy. In 1990,
Cornell brought their TV equipment into the RPI fieldhouse to broadcast
the game. The game was to be carried on ESN, but no station on the
Troy cable system picked it up. I think that ESN is available in
western New York, but certainly not in the Capital District.
 
Plus, the ECAC needs more exposure in New England, where 1/2 of their
teams reside. Even a delayed broqadcast on NESN or Sportschannel New
England would gain them some exposure. There are more CCHA and WCHA
games in New England than ECAC games.
