  I really like this idea.  I think that it is silly that the regular season
is so completely minimized by the conference tournaments which let every school
in, and then allowing them to play single elimination is a farce.  I think that
if the goal is to determine the best team, then this, or something akin to it,
is a much more accurate way of doing this.  Plus, it would be a source of
increased revenue.
