Michigan State freshman center Steve Ferranti will miss this weekend's action
due to a case of mononucleosis.  That should mean that Brian Clifford will
center the third line with Rem Murray and either Josh Wiegand or Tony
Tuzzolino.
 
The Ferris St. defenseman that signed with the Bruins was John Gruden.

P. S.  There is also a chance, as in Saturday's game vs. Lake Superior, that
        senior captain Bart Turner will play some time at forward as well as
        his usual shifts as a defenseman for the Spartans.
