What's with the Minnesota "fans" chip-on-the-shoulder postings? Is the constant
use of the term "cheesehead" meant in the best spirit?  Maybe these great, true gopher fans could concentrate on the exploits of their COLLEGE HOCKEY team and
avoid all the other garbage. I'm sure most of the list would prefer this, so
that we can avoid threads like the the self-righteous moaning that has gone
on on this list about (and still continues from time to time) who's
band is best and how dare some obscure announcer use Boston or BU instead of
Boston University or whatever.

The Gophers last one a hockey championship the year before half the team,
including the coach, went on to win the Gold in the olympics.
 
The Rose Bowl champs, aren't they the team that lost to the Gophers this
fall (which probably cost the cheese heads the national championship)?
