Northeastern defeated Cornell 5-4 yesterday afternoon (Sunday) at Matthews
Arena. Cornell continued its pattern of playing well against good teams but
finding ways to lose. A couple of horrendous defensive breakdowns in front
of their own net plus an inability to convert good offensive chances
spoiled a strong Big Red effort.
