Just had to add my $.02 to what Carol wrote:

I sit in the section next to the rowdiest student section (which is a=
t the end=20
defended by the visitors in the first and third periods). They also =
had little=20
green pieces of paper ("green cards"), which they held up for "U-S-A!=
" and=20
"I-N-S!" cheers. They yelled some unidentifiable cheers in the third=
 period=20
which they seemed to be reading off a white index-size card. I assum=
e they were
in Finnish. Wally was much more subdued this night (whether that was=
 because he
was behind most of the game, or because he'd been told to ignore the =
crowd, I=20
don't know), but he treated us to one other antic. When one of the G=
ophers shot
the puck into the net on=CAan offside play he turned his goalie stick=
 around like=20
a gun and "shot" at him. The crowd waved goodbye to Wally when he wa=
s pulled in
the third period and gave a big cheer when Wally lingered on the ice =
after the=20
handshakes to wave in their direction. We had a lot of fun with him,=
 and,=20
despite his 49 or 50 saves Friday night, I think most of the students=
 wouldn't=20
mind having him back every weekend!
