    When it comes to eliminating teams from the playoff hunt, all
    four conferences are just like the pros.  HE sends all eight,
    and the ECAC has 10 of 12 teams qualify.  There will be a
    preliminary round (begun last year) in which #10 plays at #7
    and #9 plays at #8 (one game), and the winners are re-seeded
    as 7 & 8 for the quarterfinals (best of two games).
 
    HE's quarterfinal was cut from last year's best of three to a
    single game this season.  I expect to see several upsets.
