    Last night's Division I scores:

1/29/91 Colorado College 4 at Air Force 3 NC
Northeastern 3 at Boston University 4 HE
Boston College 5 at Cornell 4 NC
Lowell 7 at Yale 2 NC

Northeastern led BU 3-2 with 8 minutes left before losing. Lowell
improved its nonleague record to 5-7-0. Air Force fell to 1-15-2
against Division I teams with its second close defeat to CC in
    a week.

BC is 21-7-0 - 7-7-0 on the road. The Eagles play only three of
their final eight games in comfortable Conte Forum, and Friday
night they host the last Hockey East team to beat them at home -
Merrimack. With the Hockey East Final Four being held at Boston
Garden as part of HockeyFest '91, I think it unlikely that BC will
come away with the playoff championship. Next Monday's first
game of the Beanpot should be interesting as it matches first-place
BC and last-place Northeastern. BC hasn't won an opening round
    Beanpot game since 1981.
