Add to my phinal phour post that after leaving Milwaukee on Friday
morning, I stopped at a rest area to call Detroit and make arrangements
to meet one of my wife's business associates at the Red Wing game on
Saturday. He had an entire private box including $1000 worth of food
and beverages at his disposal and no one to share it with. Morning
came at about 11:30 at our house, and we began to mold our plans to
head to Joe Louis when we realized that it was an afternoon game and
we had already missed our chance. It just wasn't my weekend.

As for the semifinal loss, here's a final look at some Michigan numbers
from 1992-93. All include the L at the hands of the Black Bears.

When scoring first goal: 23-2-2
Leading after 1st period: 25-2-2
Leading after 2nd period: 25-1-0
Wearing MAIZE jerseys: 5-1-0

That's right, Thursday was the first time all season that Michigan blew
a lead entering the third period. Argh again!
