Summary:

Union's defensive and golatending problems continued, as they lost 7-3
to Dartmouth Saturday. It was 3-2 after 2 but 4 third period goals by
the Big Green put this one away. Union tried to get its offense going
by bringing the defenseman more into the offensive attack, but if you
do that you're going to give up some 2-on-1's and 3-on-2's. Combine
that with 2 struggling goaltenders and you get seven goals against.

Union is now 6 points out of playoff position with 6 games left.
While it would take a lot of luck to sneak into the playoffs at this
point, Union will have a lot to say about who makes the playoffs, as
they have games remaining with Cornell, Princeton, and Colgate.
Union's road trip won't get any easier next weekend when they make
their North Country trip to Clarkson and SLU.
