No, Maine is not anywhere close to this record right now.  The modern win
streak record is 30 (RPI 84-85) and the all-time record is 32 (Dartmouth
early 1940s), but since Maine's tie with Clarkson, the Black Bears have won
"only" 9 straight.  Maine does hold the HE league record for most consecutive
wins, however, currently 16, and they set a new record every time they win a
HE game.
