From this morning's Star Tribune in Sid Hartman's column:

....The University of Minnesota will receive one-third of the gate receipts
after expenses for the Gophers-St Cloud State hockey game March 7 at Target
Center. The game was originally scheduled for St Cloud....
(end quote)
This is one of St Cloud's *home* games that they are choosing to play in a
larger arena, in hopes of making a huge amount of money. They made the mistake
however, of NOT including this particular game in their home season package!
The Gophers have included on their season package the game we play against
Wisconsin at the Met Center. Supposedly St Cloud has only sold about 5,000
tickets to this game, which is less than their own arena holds.

The Gophers face the North Dakota Fighting Sioux tonight and Saturday night in
Grand Forks. Senior Tom Newman who worked his way back into the lineup last
weekend, is scheduled to start in goal tonight. Andy Brink, (our secret
weapon) will be back on defense this weekend. Last weekend Brink played forward
and had a goal and an assist.

Woog has said that he won't assign a line to cover leading Sioux scorer Greg
Johnson, who had a goal and five assists in two losses to Denver last weekend.
