I haven't seen a box yet for the Harvard-UVM contest yesterday, so here it
is.

at Alexander Bright Hockey Center, Brighton, MA
December 13, 1992
ECAC League game

Vermont (6-5-1) 0 - 0 - 0 -- 0
Harvard (8-1-1) 0 - 0 - 4 -- 4

Scoring:

1st Period: none.

2nd Period: none.

3rd Period: H, Gustafson (McLaughlin) 2:51; H, McCann (Farrell, Drury) 4:08;
H, Mallgrave (unassisted) 10:43; H, Karmanos (Gustafson, McLaughlin)
            19:43.

Saves: UVM, Soucy 34; H, Tracy 24.

Tripp Tracy notched his second shoutout of the season as Harvard rolled to
a 4-0 win over the Catamounts in a rare Sunday afternoon game. Cory Gustafson
opened the scoring at 2:51 with his fourth of the year, who one-timed a
centering pass from defenseman Peter McLaughlin. Less than two minutes later
defenseman Sean McCann nailed a 25-foot slapshot from the edge of the left
circle to beat Soucy. At 10:43, Soucy, quite frustrated with himself, handed
a rebound on a silver platter right back to Matt Mallgrave who fired a point-
blank shot making it 3-0; then frosh Jason Karmanos beat Soucy with a 15-footer
with an assist from Gustafson.
UVM has scored only 20 goals in seven league games but have allowed just
19, third best in the ECAC behind RPI and St. Lawrence. UVM falls to
6-5-1 overall, 4-3 in ECAC play. Harvard improves to 8-0-1 in the league and
8-1-1 overall.
