From today's (May 4) Boston Globe:
 
Clarkson Hockey captain Scott Thomas, of East Aurora, N.Y., has elected to
skip his senior year to sign with the Buffalo Sabres, who drafted him third
in 1989. Thomas completed his career at Clarkson with 120 points in 104 games.
