I saw something interesting in the Boston Globe this morning that might
be a possible explanation (or just something more to talk about) for the
poor showing of Eastern teams in this years' hockey tournament.
The large majortiy of the Olympic Team this year was from eastern colleges
and universitites. Obviously, they had to be good players to make the
team, so these were players that their former college teams were very much
missing.
I'm just tossing this up for debate, I'm not saying that I necessarily
agree with this point of view, but it makes for good fodder while waiting
for the final tomorrow nite.
