Ray is in a no win situation with the blackhawks. Later in the month they
were going to bring him up to get 1 game in to be eligible for the
expansion draft, so he could catch on with a team that could use him
He was called up earlier than expected due to birth of Belfour
child. Belfour returned to the hawks last night. Thus Ray was sent
back down. To quote the tribune:

"Ray LeBlanc's luck is still alive. He was fortunate enough
to get out of town before the Blackhawks Embarresed Themselves
Wednesday night in a 7-1 loss to the New York Rangers.
Goalies Belfour and Hasek wish they would have gone with
                  him. Anywhere."
