MTU took an early 3-1 lead, but when the dust settled in a wild 3rd period
 CC took a 9-5 victory.
 
North Dakota again defeated Northern Michigan 6-3, sweeping the weekend series
   setting up a pivotal series next weekend as  MTU and NMU play home and home.
 
MTU and  NMU remained tied for 3rd in the WCHA.
