Perhaps the rumors are confused with the fact that Quinnipiac is applying
to the ECAC DI Women's league for when they go varsity in 2000-20001?
Union is already in the ECAC DIII Women's league and going varsity next
season. UConn Women are a club side and I have heard nothing about them
moving to a varsity team.

I agree, that with the plans they have for their rink et cetera, that
Union seems a good fit in the ECAC DI Men's league.

Meanwhile if Mercyhurst does join the ECAC DI Women and becomes partners
with Niagara, it could become the road trip from hell! I don't know,
Ithaca to St Lawrence!?!?!?!
