Pardon my ignorance, but why do people refer to the governing body of college
sports as the NC$$ instead of the NCAA, as it is supposed to be? I agree, it is
not the most efficiently-run organization, but it was born out of necessity
and most colleges and universities compete in it's divisions. Why the shot
at the NCAA?
