This is another one I thought was a pretty common tradition.  They usually
manage at least a couple hats on the ice if a Gopher nets a hat trick in
a home game.  (This year I've made it to 3 (out of only 4) Gopher home
games so far, and there was a Gopher hat trick in each of them.  Hats
were thrown on the ice in all 3 cases.)
