Nah.  It's the added weight of all of those extra letters on the fronts of
their jerseys. :-)
 
Seriously from reading between the lines of the game reports and box scores,
there has been some improvement since the first couple of games this year.
At least the shots on goal are much closer than they were against Lowell
and BGSU.  Historically, RPI does not do well on the North-Country trip.
 
For reasons discussed several times on Hockey-L, periodically RPI has to
rely more than most teams on Freshmen.  A few produce immediately, but most
don't.  Fans of other teams have made comments that they don't expect much
from Freshmen until after the Holidays, we probably shouldn't either.
