mike mentioned that BC coach Len Cegalrksi was going to be honored with a
pre-game ceremony and gift tonight before the start of their game against
Merrimack. Well I hope that Ceglarksi has a spare room or two in his house
for all of the gifts he'll be receiving this year. St. Lawrence presented
him with a plaque, Clarkson gave him an engraved watch, I guess that Vermont
gave him something as well. This will probably go on all season. The man
does deserve it. I forgot to mention the gift from the western school.

Friday night, when Clarkson plays Northeastern, Clarkson will be without the
services of Ed Sabo and Scott Thomas, both received game DQs during the game
against BC. I have heard that Thomas has lost his status as team captain
for a while. Coach Mark Morris has never been shy of disciplining ANY of
his players. Several players sat out a game or two over the past two years,
including one against SLU. I admire that because the more prominant players
are punished right along with the other players, no special treatment. He
probably expects more out them as well. So Clarkson will have only one
assistant captain, Hugo Belanger, dressed for the NE game. Too bad I'll
be in Pennsylvania and won't be able to follow the game. I'll rely on mike's

report. It should be a good game for both teams.
