The thread came up on r.s.h. about players who've won both the Stanley
Cup and the Olympic Gold. We all know BGSU alum Ken Morrow has won
both, and a few Swedes and former Soviets have since joined him in
that club.

Within the next couple of weeks, that club will also be joined by either
Neal Broten (New Jersey) or Mike Ramsey (Detroit), one of whom will,
*if I'm not mistaken*, become the first player to have played on NC$$,
Olympic and Stanley Cup champs. (Ramsey and Broten were both freshmen
on Minnesota's 1979 championship team and were the two youngest players
on the 1980 USA Olympic team. It'll be 3 different championships in
3 different decades.)

Just thought I'd add that bit of trivia to the pro alumni discussions.
And I'm certainly open to corrections, if anyone knows of another player
who has won all three championships.
