The following information was issued by the NCAA on 10/21/91.
 
NCAA HOCKEY POLLS.  The NCAA Division I Ice Hockey Committee will
conduct a pre-Christmas poll Monday, December 16.  Beginning Monday,
January 6, the committee will conduct weekly polls.
 
1992 SELECTION ANNOUNCEMENT.  Sunday, March 22, 1992 - Complete bracket
and seeding will be announced at 9 pm Eastern time via televised press
conference.  The press conference also will be available via American
Teleconferencing Services which will allow reporters to ask questions
regarding the selection process.
 
NCAA MEN'S ICE HOCKEY COMMITTEE.  Consists of Laing Kennedy, Cornell
University (chair); Jack Parker, Boston University; Jack Gregory, Bowling
Green State University; and Rick Comley, Northern Michigan University.
 
EAST REGIONAL.  Thursday and Saturday, March 26 & 28 - Providence Civic
Center, Providence, Rhode Island.  Game times 5 pm and 8:30 pm.  On
Thursday, #5 West will play #4 East with the winner to play #1 East on
Saturday; #6 West will play #3 East with the winner to play #2 East on
Saturday.
 
WEST REGIONAL.  Friday and Sunday, March 27 & 29 - Joe Louis Arena,
Detroit, Michigan.  Regional first-round game times 5 pm and 8:30 pm.
Regional final game times 1 pm and 4:30 pm.  On Friday, #5 East will play
#4 West with the winner to play #1 West on Sunday; #6 East will play #3 West
with the winner to play #2 West on Sunday.
 
CHAMPIONSHIP.  Knickerbocker Arena, Albany, NY.  Thursday, April 2 -
Semifinals.  Game One 2:05 pm Eastern, Game Two 8:05 pm Eastern.  Saturday,
April 4 - Final.  8:05 pm Eastern.  The championship game will be
televised live on ESPN.  NCAA Productions will syndicate the semifinals
live on Prime Network.
