To all those interested parties, this is the BC situation, straight from the horses mouth. I
guess that makes me the horse.

The ten suspended players will miss ONE game. Those players are:
G Gerg Taylor
G Josh Singewald
D Tom Ashe
D Peter Masters
D David Wainwright
D Joe Harney
D Greg Callahan
C Mike McCarthy
C Jim Krayer
LW Rob Laferriere

These players will miss only the PRovidence game on Sunday and will be back for the MErrimack
rematch. In the interim, expect Sunday's lines to look like this:
LW Brian Callahan Ryan Haggerty Cliftom McHale
C Don Chase Jamie O'Leary Rob Canavan
RW David Hymovitz Tim Lewis Toby Harris

D Ken Hemenway Brad Carlson Luke Howarth
D Ryan Taylor Jerry Buckley

In goal, Mike Correia will start backed up by Mike Sparrow. Sparrow hasn't been part of the team
for two years but it is my understanding that he is still on scholarship and thus was the
logical choice to back up Correia. Sparrow actually looked very sharp in practice and if he gets
a chance, will probably perform very well. The main problem is on defense. Buckley and Howarth
are both forwards by nature. Luke will make his first appearance of the season. Someone,
probably Carlson, will have to double shift all game. Granted, things look pretty bad. But
although Coach York may seem to be conceding a loss, the Eagles have not. They have a lot to
prove now and will give the Friars a game despite all of the goings on. York has to enforce the
rules. Otherwise, what kind of coach is he? I can give a 99.9% guarantee that this will NOT
happen again as long as Jerry is the coach. The players know that they have hurt the team and,
like I said, it will not repeat itself. Though they may be relegated to the 8/9 game because of
this, it's a lesson learned and will help the team in the long run.

GO EAGLES!!

P.S. In its first varsity season, the BC women's hockey team is an impressive 15-10-1.
