Rule 3.1.f.  A minor penalty shall be assessed to a player or goalkeeper who
participates in play while in possession of more than one stick, except that
no penalty will be assessed to a player who is struck accidentally by the
puck while carrying a replacement stick to a teammate (See 6.5.c)
 
Rule 6.5.c.  A player whose stick is broken may not receive a stick thrown
onto the ice from any part of the rink but must obtain one a stick at the
players' bench or be handed one by a teammate not serving a penalty.  A
goalkeeper whose stick is broken may not receive a stick thrown onto the
ice from any part of the rink but may receive a stick from a teammate
without procedding to the players' bench.  A bench minor penalty shall be
imposed onthe offending team for a violation of this rule.
 
Note: The intent of this rule is to provide for the assessment of one
penalty for any illegal stick replacements.
