I checked last night and Alvey was picked last year in, I believe, the 2d
round.  Since THN didn't list him among the top 3 prospects from last
year, I was curious if he was listed in the THN 1993-94 Yearbook as one
of the top Bruins' prospects.  I checked and these are what they list as
the top 10 prospects:
 
Scott Bailey (ECHL)
Mike Bales (AHL)
Mariusz Czerkawski (Sweden)
John Gruden (Ferris State Bulldogs) - Defenseman
John Rohloff (Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs) - Defenseman
Kurt Seher (WHL)
Bryan Smolinski (Michigan State Spartans) - Center
Cam Stewart (Michigan Wolverines) - Center
Jozef Stumpel (AHL)
Sergei Zholtok (AHL)
