Directions to the Knick from ALL directions!
 
From the:
 
East:
Take I-90(MassPike->NYS Thruway) West.  When on the NYS Thruway follow
signs for I-90 West. Get off Exit B2 and continue on 90West.
Take the exit for 787 South. This will take you towards Albany.
You can get off of either the Empire State Plaza exit (brings you right
past the Knick) or the Madison Ave. exit.
From the Empire State Plaza exit, you can either:
1) Park in the EMpire Parking garage.
2) Go past the garage, and bear right after it. Then go to State Street
and make a right. Follow State Street until you get to South Pearl Street,
and a right turn puts you right at the Knick.
 
The wasiest way to go is the Madison Avenue Exit.
Go straight after exiting. Follow the signs for 9 and 20 East. This is a
right turn on South Pearl Street. The Knick is ahead on your left.
 
West:
Take I90 East (NYS Thruway) Take Exit 23, 787 North.
Follow 787 North to Empire State Plaza or Madison Ave. See above for
rest.
 
South:
Take 87 North (NYS Thruway) Take Exit 23, 787 North.
Follow above.
 
North:
Take 87 South (Northway). Take 90 East. Exit on 787 South.
Follow above.
 
From the Albany Airport:
Go to 87 South (Northway). Follow directions for North.
 
From the Amtrak Station:
Take Follow signs for 787. Take the on-ramp but proceed to go straight.
This brings you to the Empire State Plaza.
 
From the Bus Station:
Walk 4 blocks and you're there.
