Tonight was one of those nights where I should have just given up. For
some reason the SLU audio feed was not working. After trying quite
awhile to connect to it I decided to check out the Cornell feed. I was
just about to pay 6.95 for a month of Cornell sports (oh, what a treat
:) ) when I got a message from another Saints fan who could get the
audio either. But he did let me know that I could pay 5.00 and watch
the game. So I found the video link and paid my money and tuned into
the game just after the first period ended. St. Lawrence was up 1-0.
Then my computer froze up. So I rebooted and froze again. One more
reboot and back to the game. I determined that I could do nothing but
the video feed so I made sure everything was off. Generally the video
was pretty good but occasionally it would stop but the sound would
continue.

Back to the report of the game.
Apparently in the first Zeiler scored at 14:43 from Trevelyan.
Saves:
    SLU - McKenna - 6
    CU - McKee - 5

Second Period:
16:04 - CU -Cook from Moulson and Hines
Saves:
    SLU - McKenna - 12
    CU - McKee - 6

Third Period:
4:01 - CU - Pegoraro from Varteresian and McCutcheon
18:24- CU - Carefoot from Knoephli
19:34 - CU - Abbott, Cam from Abbott, Chris - ENG
Saves:
    SLU - McKenna - 11
    CU - McKee - 14

As you can see the game got worse (from a SLU fan's point of view) once
I got the video working. The game seemed closer than the score
indicates. A few break downs by SLU in the third allowed CU to get some
breakaways and one of them resulted in Abbott's goal.

I will admit it was nice to watch the game even though the game didn't
go as I had hoped. It would be nice to watch more games via the
internet but next time I will know not to have any other programs running.

Keep your fingers crossed that the SLU feed is up and working tomorrow
night and it will be an easier night for me to report on the final game
of SLU's regular season.

By the way, Cornell was the only home ECAC team to win tonight. All
other road teams won. I was able to wrote fast enough to get the scores.
Clarkson over Colgate, 1-0
Dartmouth over Brown. 3-0
RPI, Dartmouth and Union also won
