Back again.  Kariya did score the final two goals in Sat.'s game to ice
the win for Maine.  PU took a 1-0 lead a minute into the game.  Eventually,
after the game was tied at 2, Maine started to dominate to win 5-2.
 
Shots on goal- Miane 29, Providence 23.
 
13 different Maine players figured into the 10 goals scored this weekend.
 
Justin Tomberlin is out indefinately as he suffered an injured back when
he crashed into the left Providence goal mount.
 
UMaine takes on the Canadian Collegiate National Champs Acadia University
this weekend at AlfondArena.
 
Kariya has, for those not keeping count, 3 points (2,1) after 2 games.
