Clarkson's old rink, Walker, used to be pretty darn cold to play in,
especially with those long, frigid, North Country winters.
There is a rink down the road in Canton, the Canton Pavillion, that
I played in alot. It is used by the Canton College Golden Bears, and
that place is like skating in a cryogenics lab - my jersey used to
regularly freeze to my pads and my gloves would freeze to my stick if
I got water on them - water bottles on top of the nets would often freeze
in the 1.5-2 hrs we were there. brrr....
