Another horrible weekend. Ugh. I'll try to answer a couple of questions.
Below these responses are the box scores.

I saw the game on tv on tape delay. So I couldn't tell how many guys
were on the ice. Here's what happened. It was Wisconsin's 2nd goal
making the score 3-2. Michigan Tech was called for a penalty. Wisc
kept control of the puck and the goalie Michelizzi went off for another
attacker. After two close in shots, Rob Granato knocked in a rebound.
Granato was the player(or is it players) who came on for Michelizzi.
So in a nutshell I can't answer your question but now you know the setup.
By the way, neither the broadcasters nor today's morning newspaper
        mentioned Mancini's concern.

Anyone who has the answers please send them ASAP to Jeff Sauer
in care of the UW Athletic Dept. I'll toss out a few thoughts and
cliches that have been thrown around by the local pundits and the players
themselves: --we(the Badgers) don't play as a team but rather like
a bunch of individuals especially when behind
                    --too many dumb penalties
--you have to play hard 60 minutes
--the power play has no pulse(sub .200), call a doctor.
--the Badgers don't like the home cooking, 0-3-2 over
the last 5 home games, overall the Badgers' road and home
records are about equal(I don't have the exact figures handy).

Well I don't have any solutions and I'm worried because the upcoming
playoff series against CC is at home. Anything could happen. Details
        next week.
