UMASS DARTMOUTH STILL RANKED EIGHTH IN USCHO.COM DIVISION III POLL
MINNEAPOLIS, MN–For the third consecutive week, the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth’s hockey team is ranked eighth in the United States College Hockey Online Division III poll.
The Corsairs were ranked eighth last week for the second time. The ranking is the highest ever achieved by the program.
Manhattanville is ranked first in the poll, ahead of Oswego State and Wisconsin-Stout. St. Norbert, Wisconsin-River Falls, and Neumann occupy the next three positions. Wisconsin-Superior, the host team for this year’s Division III Frozen Four, is rated seventh, while Norwich is rated ninth and Castleton State is 10th.
UMass Dartmouth, which is 40-3-1 during its past 44 games, is 19-2-1 overall and 11-1-0 in conference play this season. The Corsairs will return to action Saturday night at Framingham State.
