Well, I guess I am in a minority b/c I thought Maine/BC got off to a
sluggish start (but it turned out to be a great game). I think there
a defensive goof on the first goal, and a blown coverage (but a great
pass) on the second goal. Nothing Clemensen could do. Thought that
Michaud was called to make more pressure saves, but I'm sure that some
people will disagree.

Interesting how the top players seem to neutralize each other.
Thought the game featured some better hitting/checking once they got
into it.

I thought Conklin looked a little shaky (I sat in section 201). So,
it will be an interesting final. I think UNH gets the nod in a high
scoring game, but it *appeared* to me that Michaud is a little sharper
(I know that might not carry over).

Oh, and I was most disappointed with the paltry BC contingent. Granted
it is the smallest of the FF schools (not by much, though). The
fact that I don't think the BC mascot made the trip (maybe I just
didn't catch him) says something about the dedication.

Was it me, or does UMaine have the most fans, there? It was tough to
tell between UNH or Maine.

Aloha,
Will
