Tate Rink- West Point NY- Army's hockey team raised its record to 2-0 by
downing Findlay U. of Ohio 3-2. Findlay (0-2) battled back from a 10-3
shellacking on Friday night and a 2-0 deficit Saturday to close to 3-2 with
five minutes to go in the third and Army down a man for a five minute major.
Goalie Daryl Chamberlain had 24 saves to hold off the Oilers (Army outshot
Findlay 45-26) and earn his 3nd win in two starts. Greg Buckmeier; Brad
Pieper; and Plebe Jay Tolftey all tallied for the Black Knights who next face
ECAC power Colgate at Tate on 10/25.
