Since it appears that Robin Locke is not back at St. Lawrence yet, I'll recap
this game as well. St. Lawrence took a page from the Clarkson play book and
wwaited until the third period before they pulled away from Princeton.

Goals:
St. Lawrence 1 3 5 9
Princeton 1 2 1 4

Goalies:
SLU: Giroux (25 saves)
Princeton: Yorke (41 saves)

Scoring:

First Period
1. SLU, M. Lacroix (Allain, E. Lacroix) 2:22
2. Princeton, Zilinskas (Stewart, Bigelow) 6:36

Second Period
3. SLU, M. Lacroix (LaPerriere, E. Lacroix) :22
4. Princeton, Bigelow 1:10 (pp)
5. SLU, E. Lacroix (M. Lacroix, LaPerriere) 9:32 (pp)
6. Princeton, Sears (Stewart, Yorke) 10:57
7. SLU, Verbeek (C. Lappin, Giroux) 19:58 (Hey! where's a Lacroix?)

Third Period (open the flood gates)
8. SLU, Allain (E. & M. Lacroix) 4:14 (Here they are.)
9. SLU, Massoud (Verbeek, McGeough) 4:39
10. Princeton, Sinson (Kampersal) 5:54
11. SLU, McGeough (Verbeek, Massoud) 8:44
12. SLU, Verbeek (guess: Massoud, McGeough) 8:55 (Now all three have a
goal and 2 assists. Fair's fair.)
13. SLU, Wells (Carvel) 15:20 (Who are these guys?)

No disrespect intended to the St. Lawrence team, it was just too good to
pass up making comments.

LaPerriere now has an SLU record 103 points as a defenseman, breaking
Brian McColgan's record of 101.

Ex-SLU goalie Les Kuntar, who's on the US Olympic squad, broke his jaw
in a game when the puck deflected up off of his chest and under his
mask.

SLU has 8 of the next 13 ECAC games on the road.
