Masterful. Is the best description of Parker's game plan and BU's performance.

BU's execution of sound defensive play never let the Wolverines get into
their game.
There was a sense that at any moment Michigan would quickly score a couple
and change the face of the contest. The Terriers never let it happen. They
kept a winger back on the blue line often, even when trailing early. Their
discipline was noteworthy. Their neutral zone play was excellent except for
one ill-advised penalty. Goaltending was superb.

While the crowd was definitely pro-BU (Badgers have trouble cheering for
Blue). They seemed a bit low keyed, maybe expecting a Michigan comeback.
But it was a Terrier house. Some of the biggest cheers of the entire day
came during TV timeouts. A segment showing the 5 biggest checks of the year
was shown during timeouts of both semi-final games. The # 1 check drew
thunderous cheers both times when a Wolverine was shown being deposited
back in the Michigan bench by a Spartan. The BU band pandered to the
appreciative crowd with a passable version of "On, Wisconsin!" But fell
flat with the theme from Laverne and Shirley (pssst...Milwaukeeans aren't
really like L&S, and don't care for the characterization.) No matter, if
you weren't from Ann Arbor, you were for BU.

This should be viewed as one of the finest performances in NCAA tournament
history.

Saturday's final will be interesting, especially since few thought there
would be a Sioux-Terrier match-up.

On, Wisconsin!

Congratulations to the University of North Dakota and Boston University.
