The defending NCAA, Hockey East and Beanpot champion Terriers will hold their first
practice during the seventh annual Midnight Madness at Walter Brown Arena. It will
be held on Tuesday 3 October into Wednesday 4 October, as the team will take to the
ice at 12:01am. Since the first Midnight Madness was held in 1989, the Terriers have
amassed an overall record of 169-59-13 (.732) and have been in the NCAA tournament
each year, making the finals 5 times, the championship game 3 times and winning the
championship last year. The Terriers have also been in the Hockey East championship
game 4 times, winning the chamopionship 3 times, including back-to-back titles in 1994
and 1995. BU also won there first regular season title in 1994 and tied for the title
in 1995. The Terriers have also won 4 Beanpots since Midnight Madness started. So, if
you can, be there to help start the Terriers on another successful season Tuesday night.
