Watching the RPI-Colgate tape-delay last night, I thought they could've had
better crowd shots at times, but that's beside the point....
 
I would like to know what schools out therehave their own TV stations, how the
students and community view it and what is put on, whether it be college
hockey, other sports or other programs, and other pertinent info...
 
Reason is that I know RPI has satellite broadcast capability here for classes
and stuff. I can't see why they can't enter a deal with troy newchannels to
have cable or satellite broadcasts of games and other student programming.
And of course have the radio announcers simulcast their play-by-play over TV
too...
 
I would like to have info on other schools TV soon, so that I may draft a
letter to the appropriate authorities with this idea...
