UVM played at RPI on January 27th and won the game convincingly
by a 6-1 score. After Eric Perrin scored one of his goals he had his
arms raised and in a very vulnerable position. After a few seconds
he was viciously cross checked to the back of his neck. Kelly Askew
received a five minute major penalty for the incident. Due to the score,
you can some what explain it due to frustration. RPI was at the GUT
this past Saturday night. With the score tied this time, Eric Perrin was
cross checked into the boards face first. It was no surprise to see who
the did the deed again, Kelly Askew. Eric missed the entire second
period. He did return for the third to assist on the winning goal. I was
wondering if any other ( or how many ) of the leagues top players have
been victims of Kelly's cheap shots???? There is no place for this in
college hockey or anywhere else...
