First, according to HE, BC is counting the result of their game vs New
Brunswick (a 3-3 tie) in their overall record and stats. This is
perfectly okay; I just didn't know they were doing this. I have to
think this is because of Jerry York, who counted the games vs Canadian
schools when he was at BG. Anyway, BC is 1-0-1 and the schedules/standings
have been updated.

Hot off the presses, here are the first HE Players of the Week.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Greg Bullock, So F, Mass Lowell. The sophomore from Cambridge, ONT,
picked up right where he left off from last year as he led the River
Hawks to a 6-1 win over their crossstate rivals, UMass Amherst. A
pre-season all-league choice, Bullock notched two goals and collected
three assists for five points.
HONOR ROLL: Christian Sbrocca, UML - tied league record with five
assists vs UMass Amherst; David Hymovitz, BC - scored three goals and
tallied three assists vs Army; Jordon Shields, NU - went 2-2--4 in
weekend sweep of North Dakota; Blair Allison, Maine - garnered three
wins and made 64 saves as Black Bears swept Alaska Fairbanks.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Jamie O'Leary, Fr F, Boston College: The first-year player out of
Needham, Mass., propelled the Eagles to their first win of the year.
In the 9-3 win over Army, O'Leary collected two assists including the
assist that gave BC a 2-1 lead. His second assist, as well as his
first, was fed to co-captain Ryan Haggerty, put the Eagles up 7-2, and
helped head coach Jerry York to his first win at the Heights. O'Leary
also notched his first collegiate goal in the 3-3 tie with New Brunswick.
