P. S. Congratulations to Martin Buser for winning his second Iditarod in three
years last night. I always wondered: What do the dogs get for finishing
first (I mean, they did do all the work)?
P. P. S. How out of it is the average sports fan perceived to be? A lot, in
the view of the Lansing State Journal. As much exposure as the Big
East Conference gets in basketball on TV, you wouldn't think that a
newspaper would waste the time to print the phonetic spelling of Seton
Hall's Arturas Karnishovas. But then again, this is the state shaped
like a mitten (at least the LP).
