For those that might be interested in other events (when we're not
all at the Bradley Center), the following events are reported to
be "in town"

Above info from promotional literatue provided by the Milwaukee
Convention and Visitors Bureau.  Their material raves about a
Milwaukee tradition of "Friday Fish Fry" and "Custard, Milwaukee
style," described as:
   "rich in egg yolks and heavy cream, your everyday ice
    cream is just a lightweigth cousin of this Milwaukee
    treat.  The flavors are endless and change weekly ---
    some custard stands even have a flavor hotline ..."
 
For weather wire reports,  one can TELNET/TN3270 to the University of
Michigan for the latest US Weather Service reports.  I Telnet to
141.212.196.79 Port 3000.  The airport code for Milwaukee is MKE
