I asked people to rate their team's perception around campus and
in the general area. I was interested in how various programs were
perceived by the students, media and community in general.
I offered the arbitrary scale of:

1) The be all and end all
2) The be all and end all in the winter time
3) Very popular but not the only exceedingly visible program on campus.
4) Average
5) Not very popular but have a small loyal following.
6) Hockey team? We have a hockey team?

(note: any rankings of x.5 were made into 2 votes. ie: if someone
voted a 1.5, it was converted of two votes: 1 and 2. This was for
 ease in computing purposes)

COMMENTS:
Well, I took this survey because I was just curious how
various programs were perceived by the communities. I was
also curious as to how this jived with what I would have
expected. For example, I would not have expected Brown, Ferris
St and Mass-Lowell to have rated above BC and Wisconsin.

I was also happy that I got a few results for Division III
teams and club squads. Predictably, the club teams rated
lowly (although GTech rated above the D-I Ohio St) and
Platt St rated close to a 1.

Thanks for all who participated. I am going to be running
a hockey-L trivia contest next week. Stay tuned for details.
