LSSU beat Miami 3-0 for the CCHA Championship!!!!!!
 
More important than that (at least for those of us living around Washington)
is that ch 53 WNVT carries college hockey!!!!!!
 
According to the station, they carried 22 ECAC and CCHA games this year
including the semi finals and finals for each league.  If no other local
sports network carries the nc$$ semi finals they will carry those games as
well.
 
They are in the middle of a pledge drive.  Since the station is public TV they
needed $6000 to guarantee games next year.  They are also talking about
expanding to cover hockey east and the wcha next year.  At the end of the
CCHA championship they were $150 away from their goal.
