        Maybe I don't quite understand it yet, but are there a set minimum or
maximum number of bids that can be extended to teams in a region?  It seems to
me that most (I did say most) of the better teams in college hockey are in the
Northeast.  One could reasonably argue that HE and the ECAC are two of the strongest divisions.
 
        Please note, I am not trying to take away from the strong hockey leaguesin the Minnesota/Wisconsin area.  Any insight on how geographical implications
may effect the bid system would be appreciated.
