Hello All,
Happy summer.
Perhaps they have to take a time interval divisible by 3 because that is
how high the refs can count?
You know, 1-2-3, 1-2-3, 1-2-3, 1-2-3, 1-2-3 and 15 seconds are up. You
count to 3 five times and that is it. They learn it in ref school. Now
for the upcoming season they'll have to revise all the textbooks to tell
them to do it 6 times.
20 seconds would have involved doing it 6 and 2/3 times (gad, with
fractions, too high a math level, fer shure). :-)
Is it October yet?
