regardless of sport, you can always count on the vast majority big-ten
teams, with the largest alumni groups in the country, to support their
teams. Doesn't matter where (or what) the heck they play. I am sure
that if the *gate* in the east was discussed in the selection process,
the fact that two *huge* (OSU and Michigan) schools are in place.
As far as alumni/student body numbers, I think that BC is the lower
half of the 12 teams (if not the bottom 3) still playing. That is not
a crack against BC's fans (or their support for the program), just
noting the enrollment and number of alumni at the other schools.

(p.s. I am not trying to offend by the use of Big Ten in the post,
either. I just think that those schools (not their hockey conference)
will have fans in highest numbers).
