  Which was quite an amazing result (at least to me), considering how some
teams enter the tournament on a major roll (MSU, BC, Clarkson, OSU) - which
presumably would have boosted their ranking if only the last 10 games were
considered - and others are gasping (most prominently UNH), yet the change
was minimal at best.  At least for now, given the various weights applied in
the RPI, and the way individual PWC ultimately determine seed positions, it's
apparent that season-long performance DOES matter, and late season surges
are more important psychologically/emotionally than numerically ....
