This past weekend was a strong weekend for Michigan State.  Some highlights:
* MSU scored 13 goals this weekend
* Mike York had 5 goals including a hat trick against Ferris
* Sean Berens scored his 20th goal of the season
* Power play was 5/11 on Friday, 4/8 on Saturday
* All 3 MSU goaltenders played this weekend
* Chad Alban still leads the league with a 1.6 GAA and .920 save percentage in 1400 minutes of play.
* Alban earned his 10th career shutout and 4th of the season (this ties him with Joe Selinger's single season shutout record)
* Alban also earned this 8th CCHA shutout (tied w/ M. Turco)
These notes and stats all came from the State News, MSU's student newspaper.
